This piece is dated 1925 and has stickers on the back indicating that it was exhibited in Maine, Boston, and San Francisco in 1935-36. Drahomír Joseph Ruzicka (1870 – 1960) was born in Bohemia. At age six he moved with his family to a farm near Wahoo, Nebraska, a state that drew many Czech immigrants.
