This opening night exhibition from the prestigious photography gallery DANZIGER of Manhattan, features one of the seminal photographs of the 1960’s era of Robert Mapplethorpe and Patti Smith by legendary photographer Lloyd ZIFF (1942-2024). Taken between 1968-1969 at their Brooklyn apartment, and at Ziff’s Charles Street apartment this body of work captures the young couple before they achieved superstar status. As one of the most recognizable and desirable images of both subjects, the image is suitable for framing and impressive in scale at 6.75” X 9.5”. The black and white image is printed on heavy stock and in very good condition.
