Paul Strand , 1933: “Virgin, Oaxaca, Mexico” – Silver Print
A gorgeous Paul Strand print from his travels in Mexico. Silver print authentication on the reverse , Paul’s name signed by his wife Hazel and the labeling by the estate. ( I believe but am not positive that this labeling was because it was part of Apeture Foundation’s collection of his work.) The print is clean and in perfect condition. Strands gorgeous print / tonal quality! Very few of this particular image – not 100% sure but I believe the Philadelphia Museum of Art has a platinum print of this.
